Every year, you will be sent an overview of the fees that were paid in advance, and the cost of the services that have been provided. If it turns out that you have paid too much, you will receive a refund. If you did not pay enough, you will need to pay extra. The final settlement will take place between late March and late June. You will then be sent an overview of the services that you have paid for. If you have rent arrears at the time that this overview is sent, we will also add the rent yet to be received to the outstanding payment. If you only rented a property for part of the year, you will only pay service costs over that period.
Changes to the amount payable in advance
We try to calculate the amount so that you will not need to pay anything extra. Every year, we will assess whether any changes are needed. Electricity prices can change, for example, due to fluctuations in the price of energy. If any adjustment is needed to the advance payments, we will implement these at the same time as the annual rent increase whenever possible.
Residents’ Committee
Do you live in a residential complex owned by De Key? If there is an active residents’ committee in your complex, this committee will have access to the final amount payable.
