<p>Along with your rent, you will need to pay service costs in advance every month. These fees cover a range of different services. Which services do the service costs cover? Here is an overview.</p>

<h2>Depreciation of floor coverings</h2>

<p>The costs associated with the floor covering(s) in the communal area(s) and for maintaining the floor(s).</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Depreciation of white goods</h2>

<p>The costs associated with white goods such as washing machines or refrigerators.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Refuse collection</h2>

<p>The costs imposed by the municipality for collecting and processing household waste.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Administrative costs</h2>

<p>Up to 70% of the costs associated with managing the complex.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Residents’ contribution</h2>

<p>This is the contribution for special activities organized within the complex at the request of residents.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Collective heating costs, external</h2>

<p>The costs associated with heating the home through the collective heating system. This is calculated using heat meters.</p>

<p>The costs associated with heating the home through the collective heating system. This figure is calculated using the shares agreed in advance.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Electricity in storage areas (corridor lighting)</h2>

<p>The cost of electricity for lighting in the corridors leading to the storage areas.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Electricity for communal facilities</h2>

<p>The cost of the electricity consumed by facilities such as the intercom and lighting in communal areas like the lobby and stairs.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Electricity in the garages</h2>

<p>The cost of electricity in the garages.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Electricity for individual use</h2>

<p>The cost of the electricity consumed within your home.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Electricity for lift</h2>

<p>The cost of the electricity consumed by the lift(s).</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Energy supply</h2>

<p>The cost of the gas / electricity consumed in the home.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Glazing insurance</h2>

<p>The cost of insurance premiums for broken windows.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Cable TV</h2>

<p>The cost of the subscription to UPC.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Cold water</h2>

<p>The cost of cold water used in the home.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Maintenance of communal gardens</h2>

<p>The costs associated with maintaining the communal gardens.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Maintenance services subscription</h2>

<p>Some repairs in the home are classified as home maintenance, and as such individual tenants are responsible for these. However, payment of this subscription means that lieven de Key carries out these repairs.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Sewer maintenance</h2>

<p>This charge relates to the collective contract for sewer maintenance. It covers work to unblock any major or minor blockages within the sewer system of your complex or in your home.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Cleaning</h2>

<p>The costs associated with cleaning communal areas such as the lobby and the stairs.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Hot water system</h2>

<p>The cost of maintaining the hot water system.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Hot water consumption</h2>

<p>The costs associated with domestic hot water consumption.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Water rates</h2>

<p>If your home does not have a water meter, the cost of the water that you consume is included in lieven de Key’s service costs.</p>

<p>Important! <a href="http://www.waternet.nl/bijdebron" target="_blank">As of oktober 1, 2016 Waternet is going to collect water money from these tenants directly.</a> From that moment on the charges for drinking water are not part of the service costs.</p>

<h2 class="seperated">Purification Levy</h2>

<p>The cost of Waternet charges for the treatment of waste water originating from your home.</p>
