We express the quality of the home in terms of points. The same points-based system is used to evaluate all our properties. The total number of points is then used to calculate the maximum rent for your home.
How are points allocated?
To determine the quality of a home and award points for this, we look at the characteristics of the home, such as:
- surface area
- local neighbourhood
- energy label
- facilities in the house
All these items are added together to arrive at the total number of points for the home. Each number of points is associated with a maximum rent which is set annually by the government. The net rent may not exceed the maximum rent that applies to your home.
